Python & API bridge

One webhook API for every Indian broker

Built your strategy in Python? Skip writing a separate integration for Zerodha, Angel One, Dhan, Upstox and the rest. POST one JSON payload to your AlgoDelta webhook and the order goes to your account – or to a whole group – at any of 30+ brokers.

strategy.py
import requests

WEBHOOK_URL = "https://…/jsonbridge/webhook/<your-id>"  # from AlgoDelta

BUY = {
    "type": "strategy_order",
    "transaction_type": "BUY",
    "script": "NIFTY-N", "script_type": "CE",
    "option_selection": "ATM_BASED",
    "exit_on_opposite": True,
    "product": "CARRYFORWARD", "quantity": 1,
}

def on_signal(side):
    if side == "buy":
        r = requests.post(WEBHOOK_URL, json=BUY, timeout=5)
        print(r.status_code)

Why use it

Stop maintaining broker integrations

One integration, every broker

Same JSON for Zerodha, Angel One, Dhan, Kotak, Upstox and the rest. Switch brokers without touching code.

Static IP and sessions handled

AlgoDelta holds the dedicated static IP and broker session, so your script just sends signals.

Fan out to groups

Send one request and every child account in the group gets the order, in its own size.

Managed exits

With strategy_order the bridge handles target, SL, trailing SL and exit on opposite for you.

Custom API for raw orders

Need direct control? Custom API places orders straight to an account or group without bridge management.

Any language

Python, Node.js, Go, Excel VBA, Google Sheets, Telegram bots – anything that can make an HTTP POST.

Generate the exact syntax in your JSON Bridge – it also offers limit, stop and square-off variants. Test with small quantities first.

Python & API questions

Can I send orders from my own Python code?

Yes. Generate the JSON syntax in the JSON Bridge and POST it to your bridge webhook URL from Python whenever your strategy gives a buy or sell signal. The same works from Node.js, Excel macros, Telegram bots or any tool that can send an HTTP request.

Python & API bridge

What is the difference between Custom Bridge and JSON Bridge?

Both connect TradingView indicators or strategies to your broker. Custom Bridge is the simplest to set up. JSON Bridge adds script-specific orders, target, stop-loss, trailing stop-loss, rollover, option strike selection and exit on opposite, and it can be called from Python or any code.

Do I need a static IP for algo trading in India?

Many brokers now accept API orders only from a whitelisted static IP. AlgoDelta gives you a dedicated static IPv4 or IPv6 per account. Several brokers also have a no-static-IP connection in AlgoDelta, including Zerodha (without API), Angel One, Kotak Securities No IP, Alice Blue No IP and Jainam Lite.

Static IP by broker

Can a TradingView signal on Nifty buy the right option strike automatically?

Yes. The JSON Bridge selects the option contract for you: ATM-based (with an ATM gap for ITM/OTM), premium-based (closest premium to your target within a max variation) or symbol-based, with weekly or monthly expiry and exit on opposite signal.

Options automation

Do I still need a broker API key if I use the AlgoDelta webhook?

You connect your broker account to AlgoDelta once, which for some brokers uses their API key. After that your code only talks to the AlgoDelta webhook, whichever broker the account is at.

Can I verify my JSON before sending live alerts?

Yes. Generate the syntax from the JSON Bridge, send it with a small quantity or on a test group, and check the order and rejection reason in AlgoDelta before going live.
