Trade Nifty options from your TradingView signals

Your strategy runs on the Nifty, Bank Nifty or stock chart. The JSON Bridge turns each buy or sell signal into the right option contract – at the money, by premium or by exact symbol – places it with your broker, and exits on the opposite signal.

Strike selection

Three ways to pick the contract

ATM-based

Buys the at-the-money strike for the current index price. Set an ATM gap to go one or more strikes ITM or OTM.

Premium-based

Enter a target premium, say ₹100, and a max variation, say ₹20. The bridge picks the strike whose premium is closest – for example 22500 CE at ₹98.

Symbol-based

Name the exact contract when your strategy already knows which strike it wants.

Option chain (example)PremiumPremium-based pick (target ₹100, max ±₹20)
22400 CE₹135Outside range
22450 CE₹112In range
22500 CE₹98Selected – closest to ₹100
22550 CE₹75Outside range

Control

Index signal in, option trade out

  • Exit on opposite – a sell signal closes your CE before buying the PE
  • Weekly or monthly expiry with an expiry gap
  • Rollover of positions near expiry
  • Target, SL and trailing SL on the option itself
  • Hedged entries by sending more than one leg
  • Group execution so every account gets the same contract in its own size
Buy CE on long signal, PE on short signal

Options automation questions

Can a TradingView signal on Nifty buy the right option strike automatically?

Yes. The JSON Bridge selects the option contract for you: ATM-based (with an ATM gap for ITM/OTM), premium-based (closest premium to your target within a max variation) or symbol-based, with weekly or monthly expiry and exit on opposite signal.

What is the difference between Custom Bridge and JSON Bridge?

Both connect TradingView indicators or strategies to your broker. Custom Bridge is the simplest to set up. JSON Bridge adds script-specific orders, target, stop-loss, trailing stop-loss, rollover, option strike selection and exit on opposite, and it can be called from Python or any code.

How do I avoid duplicate orders when TradingView sends repeated alerts?

Use bar-close alerts in Pine Script, use strategy alerts with position size, and turn on exit on opposite in the JSON Bridge so a repeated signal does not stack positions. You can also pause a bridge without deleting it.

Can I send orders from my own Python code?

Yes. Generate the JSON syntax in the JSON Bridge and POST it to your bridge webhook URL from Python whenever your strategy gives a buy or sell signal. The same works from Node.js, Excel macros, Telegram bots or any tool that can send an HTTP request.

Python & API bridge

Can I use UT Bot or Supertrend alerts to trade Nifty options?

Yes. Any TradingView indicator that can fire an alert works. Create the alert on the index chart, paste the JSON Bridge webhook and message, and the bridge picks the option strike by your ATM, premium or symbol rule.

Does AlgoDelta tell me which option to trade?

No. AlgoDelta does not give trading calls or recommendations. The bridge only executes the selection rule you configure on the signal you send.
