How to choose the best copy trading software in India

By the AlgoDelta team · Updated 18 Oct 2026 · We make AlgoDelta, so we show our own answers – use the checklist on any tool.

The best copy trading software for Indian markets is the one that copies fast to every broker you use, lets you trade from your normal broker app, controls each account's size, handles static IP and daily login rules, and stays affordable as you add accounts. Check these ten things before you pay.

1. Speed comes from architecture, not marketing

Every copy trading tool says it is fast. Ask how. The delay between the master fill and the last child order depends on how quickly the master order is detected, whether child orders are sent in parallel, and whether all accounts share one connection and IP. Tools that send orders one after another through one IP slow down as you add accounts. How copy trading speed works.

2. Broker coverage, in both directions

Many traders hold accounts at two or three brokers. Make sure each one can be the master and a child, and that mixed groups work. Check less common brokers too if family members use them. AlgoDelta's broker table lists connection types for each.

3. Static IP and daily login cost real money and time

A static IP per account adds monthly cost, and daily logins add morning work. Prefer software that offers no-IP connections where brokers allow them, one IP across different brokers, and no-daily-login or one-click refresh connections.

4. Look past copying

Most traders end up wanting more: TradingView or Python signals sent to all accounts, automatic target and stop-loss, a combined SL for a basket. Buying those separately multiplies cost. On AlgoDelta the bridge and Order Manager are included per account.

5. Do the maths at your scale

Price per account × accounts × 12, plus static IPs, plus GST. At ₹400 + GST per account, 10 accounts cost ₹4,720 a month including GST. Use the pricing calculator for your numbers.

6. Security questions to ask

  • Are broker credentials and tokens encrypted at rest?
  • Can the software withdraw funds? (It should not be able to.)
  • Can clients connect their own accounts without sharing passwords?

Red flags

  • Promises of profit, "guaranteed returns" or ready-made winning strategies bundled with the tool.
  • Requests to share your broker password or OTP over chat.
  • No trial, no company details, no GSTIN or registered address.

Frequently asked questions

How fast are orders copied to child accounts?

Child orders are sent to all brokers in parallel, at almost the same moment the master order is detected. AlgoDelta uses a distributed execution setup where each child account runs on its own IP route, so one account never waits for another. Final fill time still depends on each broker's API response, the exchange and your margin.

How copy trading speed works

Can I copy trades from one broker to a different broker?

Yes. Any supported broker can be the master and any supported broker can be a child, for example a Kotak Neo master with Zerodha, Dhan and Angel One children. Cross-broker copying is one of the most used AlgoDelta setups.

Do I need a static IP for algo trading in India?

Many brokers now accept API orders only from a whitelisted static IP. AlgoDelta gives you a dedicated static IPv4 or IPv6 per account. Several brokers also have a no-static-IP connection in AlgoDelta, including Zerodha (without API), Angel One, Kotak Securities No IP, Alice Blue No IP and Jainam Lite.

Static IP by broker

Do I need to log in to my broker every day?

It depends on the broker. Angel One, Kotak Securities (static IP), Zerodha without API, Groww, IIFL, Definedge, JM Financial and several others need no daily login, and Dhan supports a one-click token refresh. Brokers such as Upstox, FYERS, Flattrade, Shoonya and Zerodha with API expire tokens daily, so you re-authorise before market open.

Login rules by broker

Is AlgoDelta affordable for large numbers of accounts?

Yes. Pricing is flat per connected account with no setup fee and no per-order charge, so cost grows in a straight line as you scale. ₹472 a month works out to about ₹15.73 a day per account including GST – usually less than the brokerage on one order.

Is AlgoDelta safe to connect my demat account to?

AlgoDelta stores broker credentials and tokens encrypted, uses OTP verification, real-time validation and a dedicated static IP per broker account, and never holds your money: funds and securities stay with your broker, and AlgoDelta cannot withdraw them.
